Labrador Labs, a specialized company in software supply chain security, announced on the 17th that it has secured a key route to enter the U.S. public market by officially registering as a vendor with two U.S. Department of Defense marketplaces and Carahsoft.
Labrador Labs registered its solution on the U.S. Department of Defense ‘TradeWins’ and ‘Platform One’ marketplaces. TradeWins is a platform focused on AI/ML and data analytics introduction for defense new technologies, while Platform One is a security-centered development, security, and operations (DevSecOps) and strategic software service platform.
This registration officially recognizes that Labrador Labs’ solutions meet the strict security, technical, and quality standards required by the U.S. Department of Defense. It publicly demonstrates its software supply capabilities specialized for the public sector.
Through this, Labrador Labs secured the foundation to directly participate in various projects under the U.S. Department of Defense in areas such as SBOM generation, vulnerability detection, license compliance, and large-scale automated software supply chain management. It is included in the simplified U.S. government procurement process, which is expected to facilitate cooperation with defense and public sectors within the United States.
Additionally, Labrador Labs was registered as an official vendor of the U.S. government IT solution specialist company Carahsoft. Carahsoft is a government IT solution company that has signed multi-billion-dollar software, IT service, and cloud supply contracts with federal agencies across the U.S. Department of Defense, Army, Navy, Air Force, and throughout Canada.
It laid the groundwork for direct transactions and large-scale contracts with key public institutions in the North American region including the federal government and the Department of Defense. Simplification of government procurement processes and schedules, provision of public institution demand information, contract management, and marketing support are also anticipated.
Also, Labrador Labs exhibited its solutions at the ‘2025 OWASP (Open Worldwide Application Security Project) Global AppSec USA’ held on the 6th and 7th in Washington DC, expanding its customer contact points. Customers showed strong interest in Labrador Labs’ software supply chain automated management platform, Labrador SCM.
Jin-seok Kim, CEO of Labrador Labs, said, “Registration in the Department of Defense marketplaces and the contract with Carahsoft are the first steps recognizing us as a trusted security partner in the U.S. public market beyond mere entry,” and added, “We will continue to lead the establishment of a global trusted ecosystem with technology that strengthens the supply chain security of defense and government agencies.”
